How is diving between Bali, Sumbawa and Komodo?

During this trip we cross quite a distance having an opportunity to admire big variety of different landscapes of central part of Indonesia. In Nusa Penida Island we have a chance to spot Sun Fish known as Mola-Mola, one of the heaviest fish in the world, that can reach up to 3 m in length and 2 tons in weight. At this area we dive with manta rays and do a drift dive on a steep slope with the richest coral reef in this region. In Gili Islands, Lombok, we dive in a mecca of sea turtles, both green and hawksbill. In Lombok`s neighborhood, Sumbawa Island we plan to dive with Whale Sharks, visit Moyo and Satonda islands where dive sites have very relaxing weak currents and many coral formations with some interesting macro life but also bigger fish. When we reach Banta Island, be prepared for strong currents and one of the most beautiful coral reefs you have ever seen in your entire life. These dives can be very surprising, and we have spotted here many different types of sharks, mantas, turtles, and a lot of schools of fish. Sites of Komodo National Park will never disappoint you – groups of mantas, sharks, schools of fish, raging currents and amazing underwater scenery are magnet for divers from around the world.

Our recommendations: you should have at least an Advanced Open Water certificate and previous experience with currents. Good breathing skills should be known too as most dives are +/- one hour long.
