How is diving at Ambon, Banda and Raja Ampat?

In our opinion, the cruise between Ambon and Raja Ampat National Park is the most amazing trip in an entire Indonesia. We organize it only twice a year – in October and April. It includes some places worth special attention. Ambon offers world-class muck dives where we can spot frog fish, rinophias, sea horses, and much more. Next is Nusa Laut Island, with deep walls and huge white sandy plateaus, where you can find beautiful reefs, leopard moray eels and many schools of fish. With a bit of luck, we can spot hammerhead sharks. Banda Sea which we cross was a historical trading route and Banda Neira Island, once in history, was the only place where nutmeg was growing in an entire world what was a reason of many conflicts between different nations. Nowadays, for divers the most precious are huge numbers of fish, leopard moray eels, amazing rocky landscapes, and another chance to spot hammer head sharks. Misool, which is a south part of Raja Ampat, is the most famous part of Raja Ampat. We love Shadow Reef dive spots which every time surprise us with huge oceanic mantas, wobbegongs, white tips, gray reef sharks, Napoleons and many different schools of fish. In Central area of Raja Ampat we dive in the biggest and most beautiful coral reef of an entire National Park.

During this trip You will travel thousands of kilometers by sea and feel a freedom beyond imagination.

Our recommendations: you should have at least an Advanced Open Water certificate with Deep dive specialization because sometimes we go over 30 m to look for hammerhead sharks. It is worth to have previous experience with currents and good breathing skills as most dives are +/- one hour long.
